Down with food poisoning, actor-director gives his shoot schedule a miss
While shooting for his upcoming film with Vidya Balan, Farhan Akhtar was hoping to take some time off to promote his new home production. However, the actor-director fell sick with a bout of food poisoning.
Unfortunately, not only did he miss the promotional activities, he also missed resuming his shoot in the Vidya co-starrer.
A source close to Farhan says, `He had to cancel his outdoor work tour because of his health. He has now been resting since the past couple of days and is on medication. Since his home production features newbies, he had been a bit anxious. But his plans went for a toss.`
So while Farhan stays out of action, his business partner Ritesh Sidhwani has been touring across cities with the film's cast. Says Ritesh, `Farhan could not accompany us to Ahmadabad but he somehow managed to come to Jaipur for the promotions.`
