6 years later, Jiah (Nafisa) Khan decided to end her life leaving the entire nation in shock. A turbulent relationship is what took her life, revealed a letter her devastated mother found in her belongings. “After all the pain, the rape, the abuse, the torture I have seen previously I didn’t deserve this,” she wrote.
Even after her death, her love Suraj continues to cheat her. Jiah’s downhill career was shown as the reason behind her suicide. But the truth finds its way this time.
Khan was born on 20
February 1988 into a Muslim family in New York City. Jiah Khan first
appeared as a child actress in Shah Rukh Khan starrer film Dil Se. She
played the role of Manisha Koirala’s childhood.
In 2005, Jiah got an
opportunity to work in Mukesh Bhatt's Tumsa Nahin Dekha. Later, she
backed out of the film. Later, she got the big break opposite Amitabh
Bachchan in Nishabd.
Her next two films came opposite superstars Akshay Kumar and Aamir Khan. But the actress never got lead roles in films.
After 2010, she virtually disappeared from the big screen.
Jiah Khan committed suicide by hanging herself on 3 June in Mumbai.
Firstly, it was said that Jiah committed suicide because of her falling career graph.
Her mother found a suicide note in her belongings after 4 days of her death.
It was revealed that it was her turbulent relationship with Suraj Pancholi, son of Aditya Pancholi that took her life.
Aditya Pancholi was arrested by police under the case.
