It’s now known that Jiah
Khan last spoke to boyfriend Sooraj Panscholi before she hanged herself
to death. The police verdict has confirmed it. In his statement to the
Mumbai Police, Sooraj has admitted that Jiah wanted to meet him, but he
was ignoring her, said that he’s too busy. Upon learning this, Jiah
rushed to her Juhu home, and began to text message Sooraj.
Between 9pm to 10:53 pm, the two lovers were on a continous tiff. Jiah accused Sooraj of emotionally distancing himself from her.
Jiah’s text message: “U R getting too cold.” “U R getting too close to Neelu.”
Sooraj’s reply: “There has been a misunderstanding. Let’s sort it out.”
To ease out the fight, Sooraj sent a bouquet of flowers to her Juhu home at 10 pm. Jiah answered the door, but sent the bouquet back. An hour later, by the time her mother returned home, she had already hanged herself with a dupatta.
