Ranbir Kapoor's dinner date with Aamir and Kiran

Actor Ranbir Kapoor was spotted in a sub urban hotel of Mumbai at night with perfectionist actor Aamir Khan

Aamir Khan and his wife Kiran Rao. Seemed they all had dinner together as well. Earlier same evening Kiran Rao, wife of Aamir Khan held a screening for “Ship of Theseus”. Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar, Katrina Kaif, Farooque Sheikh, Ayan Mukerji, Aditya Roy Kapur, Kunal Roy Kapur, Shahrukh Khan and others attended the screening.

“Ship of Theseus” is an Indian drama movie which tries to explore the meaning of life realities like death, happiness, beauty, justice through the eyes of three characters viz. an experimental photographer, an ailing monk and an enterprising stock broker. The movie is directed by Anand Gandhi.
Kiran Rao who is the presenter of the movie, on special request by Ayan Mukerjee, scheduled a screening for this movie and the crew of “Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani” was invited. According to a source, “Kiran and Ayan, who have both worked with Ashutosh Gowariker, were spotted in deep conversation at the success party of the latter’s film. Both were catching up with each other when Ayan told Kiran he wanted to see Anand’s film. Kiran told him she would happily organize a show for his film’s team, including Ranbir and Deepika Padukone.”
Mean while, after the success of “Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani”, Ranbir is in a buoyant mood and is ready to take on Aamir in December as both the actors have booked the same slot of ‘Christmas week’ for the release of their respective movies. Ranbir Kapoor’s “Bombay Velvet” will be released along with Aamir’s “Dhoom 3”.
“Bombay Velvet” is a movie that is set in 60’s and depicts the transformation of Mumbai into a metropolis city. The shooting is done in Sri Lanka which has a lot of heritage buildings and the skyline of Sri Lanka resembles the skyline of 60’s Mumbai. The leads are played by Ranbir and Anushka Sharma whereas Karan Johar appears in a negative role.
On the other hand, “Dhoom 3” is an action thriller and cast stars like Abhishek Bachchan, Uday Chopra, Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif.
Well, it is also known that Aamir is extremely fond of Ranbir’s acting. While shooting for “Dhoom 3” in US, Aamir wanted to watch then released movie of Ranbir “Barfi”. Aamir requested UTV to organize a special screening of “Barfi” for him and his ‘Dhoom 3’ crew in Chicago. And Aamir seemed to thoroughly enjoy the movie. He was in tears at the end of the movie. He applauded Ranbir for his extra ordinary acting.
