We believe Shah Rukh Khan was responsible for Ekta
Kapoor pushing Once Upon a time in Mumbaai Again to the Independence Day
weekend. This was supposed to be the biggest clash of the year with
Rohit Shetty's Chennai Express and OUATIMA releasing on the same day.
Insiders reveal that Ekta was quite serious about taking on Shetty
at the box-office. The two have had a fall out ever since the latter
refused to work with her and returned her entire signing amount. But it
took SRK's intervention to diffuse the matter and find a truce.
Our source reveals, "SRK sent Ekta a text saying it would hurt both
their businesses and they should rethink about coming on separate
dates. After consulting with her team Ekta agreed and decided to move
the release by a week."
