Singer Daler Mehndi, who is launching his son Gurdeep in Bollywood with "Meri Shadi Karao", says even he harbours the dream of becoming an actor, but adds that it is a costly affair.
"I also want to become an actor but for that I need a big producer, big director," the 45-year-old said here in an interview.
He said that it won't be feasible for him to "sing four songs in my own film free of cost, give money to the producer for the (poster of the film) and go here and there to promote my film. I can't do this".
"But yes, if I am capable and if the producer or the director will come with a good story and a message, then I would definitely do it," he added.
Daler also recalls a time when he rejected a film.
"Quite long back I rejected (director) Rahul Rawail saab's 'Kuch Khatti Kuch Meethi' opposite Kajol as I didn't find the story appealing. But now if something interesting comes, I will definitely do it," Daler said.
