Minissha doesn't want to be left behind

After staying away from the genre, Minnisha is finally gearing up for her first action film

As far as the action genre is concerned, Bollywood actors try their best to mesmerise the audiences with chiselled bodies and stunts. With the ongoing trend in vogue, Minissha Lamba apparently doesn't want to be left behind as she too is all gearing up to showcase her skills in Sanjay Sharma's upcoming high-octane film.

Minissha was last seen in Zila Ghaziabad where she had a relatively minor role. However, the petite actress who is mostly known for playing romantic characters is preparing for her debut action flick. She is all set to transform herself into a rough-and-tough intelligence bureau officer - something she hasn't played before.


The actress has been busy rehearsing and had been religiously practicing martial arts, flips and kick-boxing to get into the character. Though this particular role came after a rather long wait, she is happy to be sweating it out for.

`Some roles are physically demanding. This is definitely one of them. So I can tell you that it isn't a cakewalk for me! But it's totally worth the hardship and the time I'm investing in it to get my graph of the character right, ` says Mini.
