Amitabh Bachchan's pet dog Shanouk passes away

Amitabh Bachchan has to bid good-bye to his seven years old companion, his pet dog Shanouk.  On Big B’s blog, we find a regular mention of his pet dog and many a times he posted his picture with Shanouk. Unfortunately, Shanouk passed away today and Amitabh Bachchan expressed his grief on twitter, "5th feb 2006, I received the most beautiful birthday present.. Shanouk my dog. Today I said my final goodbye to him. RIP my baby,” tweeted a distressed Abhishek Bachchan early this morning. Big B tweeted that when Shanouk was brought to his residence, he used to move around him, searching for a companion. He felt bit lonely but soon got a good friend in Abhishek. He often used to sleep in AB junior’s bed.  Amitabh Bachchan also shared a picture of his intimate moment with his pet dog.

 “Truer friend and companion there never was. Thank you Shanouk, for being there in the strength of your immense body and the sincerity of your drooping eyes, the rolls of pristine and soft skin and at times the affectionate saliva that drools all over our freshly washed clothing. It is a wonder that you do not talk, yet how well you understand. It is a wonder that you show concern and guard, without being asked to. It is a wonder that you obey and follow and perform on instruction,” expressed Big, reminiscing about his emotional connect with his favourite pet.
Big B once tweeted how Shanouk becomes angry when he diverts his attention from him to his granddaughter Aaradhya and play with her. He said that pet are also like little children, craves for attention.
