Jiah Khan died of hanging, postmortem report confirms

The postmortem report confirmed that Bollywood actress Jiah Khan hanged herself to death and no external injuries were found on her body.
"The postmortem report has found that the death of Jiah Khan was due to hanging and no other external wounds were found," police said. 25-year old Jiah was found hanging from the ceiling fan of her room on June 3. She took this extreme step when her mother and sisters were outside.
In this regard, Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab’s son Sooraj Pancholi was arrested. Jiah and Sooraj were in a live-in relationship and she was even pregnant with his child. That Jiah Khan aborted her child has been confirmed by police. Jiah’s mother Rabiya Khan lodged a complaint against Sooraj, she charged him of abetting her daughter to take this extreme step.
According to her, Jiah Khan was disturbed as Sooraj drifted apart from her. He promised to live together and marry her but later he left her alone. A six page suicide note was discovered from Jiah’s room and few letters were also found from Sooraj’s room. The letters were sent to handwriting expert.
Jiah was also upset as her career was not going great guns. She was out of work for three years. She debuted with Ramgopal Varma’s Nishabd’ opposite Amitabh Bachchan and worked in Aamir Khan starrer ‘Ghajini’ and Sajid Khan’s ‘Housefull’.
