Look who made peace between Shahrukh Khan and Akshay Kumar

It is a known fact that the release dates of Chennai Express and Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Again were clashing. It would have been the box office clash of the year with Shahrukh Khan colliding head over with Akshay Kumar. Needless to say such a situation would have caused harm to both films.

Right when neither Ekta nor Shahrukh was backing down, ‘Super dad’ Jeetendra came to the rescue.

Apparently Shahrukh is very close to Jeetendra, which is why the latter convinced daughter Ekta to shift the release date to August 15th.

In a report to a leading English entertainment website, Shahrukh Khan stated, “Keeping in mind that both weekends are good times for film releases, Jeetendra sir being the senior-most showed the path. He took the decision to move OUATIM 2 to August 15. This is extremely graceful of him.”

Other movies to be released in August are Prakash Jha’s Satyagraha and John Abraham’s Madras cafe.
