After acting in hit movies like Aashiqui 2 and Yeh Jawani hai Deewani, Aditya Roy Kapoor
Aditya Roy Kapoor has bagged
another role under the coveted banner of Yash Raj Films (YRF). He would be seen
romancing Parineeti Chopra, who has given the hit movie Ishaqzaade and has also
received National Film Award- Special Mention at the 60th National Film Awards for this movie. This
project whose title is undecided as of yet, will be directed by Habib Faisal.
The movie is slated to be released in mid-2014.
Before his upcoming project, Habib Faisal has also directed Do Dooni Chaar which was released in 2010 and Ishaqzaade which was released in 2012. He has also been the screen writer for these two movies. So for Parineeti Chopra, this is going to be the second time that she would be working with Faisal. Yash Raj banner is also a home coming for her. Before beginning her acting career, Parineeti worked in the marketing department of YRF and later went on to act in YRF’s movie, Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl.
Habib Faisal is an alumnus of Jamia Milia Islamia and before Bollywood, he has directed a TV serial, Lavanya and has also worked as a camera person for NDTV.
Aditya Roy Kapoor is the younger brother of Siddharth Roy Kapoor and Kunaal Roy Kapoor, both of whom are known TV personalities. Aditya made his debut with the movie, London Dreams which was released in 2009 and then appeared in supporting roles in Action Replay and Guzzarish. He came under the limelight only after the grand success of block buster movie Aashiqui 2. His acting has been much appreciated in Aashiqui 2. He also did a fantastic job as a supporting actor in Yeh Jawani hai Deewani. His upcoming project is Assi Nabey Poore Sau. This movie is the Hindi version of a trilingual movie.
After receiving acclaims for her acting, Parineeti has many big budget movies in her kitty. She has been signed for Karan Johar-Anurag Kashyap co-produced movie, Hasee Toh Phasee and Shaad Ali’s Kill Dil among others. Parineeti is known to bring life to the roles that she plays.
Both Aditya Kapur and Parineeti Chopra are quite excited about their new project. Since the movie is still under covers, they just revealed the movie to be a love story.
