Sooraj Pancholi sent to judicial custody till June 27

Mumbai high court has sent late Jiah Khan’s boyfriend Sooraj Pancholi to judicial custody till June 27. Sooraj has been arrested based on Jiah’s six page suicide note and her mother Rabiya Khan’s statement. Sooraj, son of Zarina Wahab

Zarina Wahab and Aditya Pancholi was arrested on June 10th and was kept under judicial custody till today. When he was produced in the Mumbai court today, on the basis of police investigation, his custody was extended till June 27.

Sooraj has been accused of abetting the actress to take this drastic step, he is charged with betraying Jiah in love and abusing and torturing her. Rabiya Khan said that her daughter suffered a lot in love. He promised to live his whole life with Jiah but later cheated her.
Jiah and Sooraj were in a live-in relationship for a year long and it was proved that Jiah was pregnant with his child but she was forced to abort. Police has evidence of Jiah Khan’s abortion. She took pill to kill the baby. Six page suicide notes was found in Jiah’s room in which she has written how she has given her life for love.
However, Sooraj’s mother Zarina has denied all the allegations against her charges and said that if her son is found guilty of charges then he should be punished. She also denied that her son was in a live-in relationship with the late actress.
"He hit my daughter. He tortured her. I saw bruises on her body. I saw the pain and humiliation she must have gone through. The evidence is with the police. She did not have any emptiness in her life. I am angry. I am in pain," said Rabbiya.
Jiah Khan who debuted with Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Nishabd’ opposite Amitabh Bachchan in 2007 was found hanging at her Juhu residence on June 3^rd. she was living with her mother and sister.
