While the creme de la
creme of Bollywood flooded Priyanka Chopra's dad's funeral and chautha,
the Bachchans strangely missed both the events. Neither Aishwarya Rai
nor Pee Cee's Dostana co-star Abhishek Bachchan attended any of the
events. Jaya Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan too did not visit Priyanka
Chopra at the time of her need. While we are totally appalled at
Bachchan's unsocial behaviour we wonder what wrong did Pee Cee do to
Bachchans to invite such deadly ignorance? Pee Cee recently said her
song Babli badmash is an ode to Amitabh Bachchan.
We seriously wish everything is fine in between Pee Cee and the
Bachchans because even rival Kareena Kapoor and ex-Shahid were there
with Piggy Chops (a nick name given by Abhishek Bachchan) in her time of
need.
Here are the possible reasons why Bachchans would miss Priyanka Chopra's dad's funeral, chautha.
Priyanka rubbed
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan the wrong way once while giving her thank you
speech after she received the award of Filmfare Best actress for her
film Fashion.
This incident follows
Priyanka's fallout with once-upon-a-time good friend Abhishek Bachchan
who too was upset with Priyanka for wanting to groove to the same song
('Ma da laadla' from Dostana) which he had selected for the same
function.
Priyanka said that she
was very happy to be nominated (Fashion, Dostana) among the likes of the
beautiful Aishwarya Rai (Jodhaa Akbar) and the talented Kajol (U, Me
Aur Hum). Priyanka's euphoric statement however hasn't gone down well
with Aishwarya. Aishwarya was annoyed that Priyanka called her beautiful
but said nothing about her acting talent.
