Fukrey is a decent film, which has grown with word of mouth, which is proved by its collections over the past few days, In fact 'Yeh Jaawani Hai Deewani' is still standing tall and pulling in good numbers with its 940 screens.”
After doing superb business in India, YJHD is all set to be screened in Russia in the coming month. Ranbir’s grandfather late actor Raj Kapoor was quite famous in Russia in 50’s. Ranbir is quite excited about the Russian rlease. "YJHD will release in Russia in the coming months. Ranbir will be there for three days before the release so that he has time to engage with the media and market the film," a source said. "Ranbir is excited about this trip and is looking forward to interacting with his fans." the source added.
When Rishi Kapoor, father of Ranbir Kapoor
Ranbir Kapoor was asked if he would give the credit of the success of movie to his son, he said, “I think the credit should go to Ayan and Karan Johar (producer of YJHD). Ranbir has worked hard on this film as he does for all his films, but the whole team has worked towards the success of YJHD. Be it Ranbir, Deepika Padukone and Kalki Koechlin (co-stars), or Pritam (music director of YJHD) — all of them are equally responsible for making the film a hit.” He again said, “Being Ranbir’s father, I am very happy to see the response to YJHD. I am getting hundreds of calls throughout the day for it.”
