Here's the reason for the Sanjay Gupta-Kangna fallout

Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta is disturbed with Sanjay Dutt’s imminent incarceration. Though the two friends and business partners had a fallout some years ago, they patched up at Amitabh Bachchan’s 70th birthday bash in October 2012.

The honourable Supreme Court’s judgment on March 23  left  Gupta devastated.

“And that’s the reason why he chose not to attend Kangna Ranaut’s birthday party. She went ahead and threw a bash just two days after the Supreme Court’s decision. Gupta was in no mood to celebrate,” says a source close to Gupta.

Apparently, the director is more amused than exasperated by reports of creative differences with the actress.

Says Gupta’s friend, “Kangna has interpreted the character and shot the film exactly the way Sanjay Gupta wanted her to. That’s true of every member of the cast. If seasoned actors like Anil Kapoor and Manoj Bajpai have gone by Gupta’s interpretation of the characters why would Kangna not do so?”
