Priyanka Chopra bares her sole for charity

Bollywood celebrities are often known to be associated with causes that they believe in. And the Save the Girl, a campaign that was kicked off in India by UNICEF, is an issue that is close to Priyanka Chopra’s heart. To support it, she will participate in a charity auction-cum-dinner called Dare

 

To Care today (April 19) at the ITC Maurya, New Delhi. Priyanka has been UNICEF’s goodwill ambassador since August 2010.
A source says, “Priyanka has been supporting the girl child’s cause for many years. Now, she will auction her specially-designed Christian Louboutin shoes. This is the same pair she wore in her latest single, ‘Exotic’, which also featured Pitbull. The shoes will be autographed by Priyanka and Louboutin. The proceeds will go to initiatives that work towards the betterment of the girl child. The money will be used by UNICEF to create a safe and protective environment for girls in India.”
Priyanka is apparently so excited that she decided to put on a special dance performance for the occasion at the last minute. She will choreograph the act herself. However, this will be a blink-and-miss appearance for the actor in the city. Priyanka will be in Delhi only for a day and will rush back to Mumbai for her other shooting commitments.
