Resul Pookutty is an Indian film sound designer, sound editor and mixer. He, along with Richard Pryke and Ian Tapp won the Oscar and Academy Award for Best Sound Mixing for the film Slumdog Millionaire. He has worked in Hollywood, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam films. He had a BAFTA nomination and has made it to Hollywood's Cinema Audio Society's nominations for his audio work in Slumdog Millionaire. He recently threw a party for the actress 'Usha Jadhav', who won the National Award for her performance in the Marathi movie 'Dhag'.
