As Bollywood waits for the launch of Saif Ali Khan
Ileana D’Cruz had taken Bollywood by storm with her measured acting in Barfi. So, when her name was suggested, it seemed that the hunt for the new leading lady opposite Saif was finally over. Ileana will be seen against Shahid Kapoor in “Phata poster nikla hero” which is slated to be released this November. She is currently working in Rana – a telegu film directed by KS Ravikumar.
In the meantime, Saif is awaiting the release of his film Go Goa Gone. The film has already got the “A” certificate that Saif had asked for without any part of the film being cut. It promises to be a unique story with great humour and the new blond look of Saif as Boris the zombie hunter is already a subject of much speculation. Though the subject matter is unique in Bollywood, director Krishna DK maintains that it is still a very Indian film. “It is a very Indian film. GO GOA GONE is about the middle class people who work in call centers etc and their lives. It talks about how people want to freak out at a weekend party in Goa after a strenuous week! " he said.
