Newly weds Vidya, Kareena says no to bold scene

Two leading ladies of Bollywood, Vidya Balan and Kareena Kapoor have recently tied the knot and these new brides refuses filmmaker Tigmanshu Dhulia of ‘Paan singh Tomar’ fame due to the bold content in the film. Filmmaker Tigmanshu Dhulia has approached both the actresses for the ambitious biopic, Begum Samru but both of them turned down the film due to the bold content and the reason is their married status.
The period film is based on the life of Begum Samru, who started her career as a nautch girl in 18th century India and ultimately she became the ruler of Sardhana, a principality near Meerut. She joined politics and played a key role in the political power struggle in 18th and 19th century India.
Tigmanshu Dhulia told a leading daily, "The film is set in the 1840s and will be based on a Hindi novel. I wrote the script a few years ago. I am looking to rope in an international studio. That will ensure I don't face any censor issues in terms of satellite rights. That being said, I did approach Kareena and Vidya but they weren't comfortable with the script."
Despite the rejection from two leading actresses, Tigmanshu Dhulia is not ready to tone down the sexy scene as it is the demand of the script.

According to the report, the maker has modified the script; the lead actress will be a begum and not a nautch girl. The begum woos four men before she fell in love with her dream man and from there the trouble begins.
