Aamir Khan will meet British Prime Minister David Cameron today in New Delhi. Cameron who is on a three days visit to India will meet Mr Perfectionist in New Delhi tonight. British PM David Cameron is highly impressed with Aamir’s social approach towards the society. Aamir’s TV show ‘Satyamev Jayate’ which highlighted the social stigmas of Indian society, rape, child abuse, female foeticide, domestic violence has impressed the British PM. David Cameron also took time to visit the Janaki Devi College in Delhi with actor Aamir Khan.
The British Prime Minister desired to meet Aamir Khan owing to his growing popularity in the UK after he featured on the cover of TIME magazine. For couple of months, the PM’s office and Aamir Khan’s team have been scheduling out time for the meeting.
Aamir Khan, who is currently shooting in Mandawa in the Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan (six hours away from Jaipur) for Rajkumar Hirani’s film, P.K, will fly down to Delhi for this historic meet with David Cameron.
Aamir Khan is very happy and looking forward to meet British PM David Cameron. In November last year, Aamir met US President Barack Obama at Prime Minister (PM) Manmohan Singh’s 7, Race Course Road residence and dined with them.
