Bees attack Deepika-Ranveer, Chaos on 'Ram Leela' sets

Bees attack Deepika-Ranveer, Chaos on `Ram Leela` sets

A beehive was found on the sets of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone's upcoming film while they were shooting for a song

Chaos broke out on the sets of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone's next film when unit members discovered a beehive there. Apparently the actors panicked and were removed from the location by alert crewmembers.

Sources say while shooting a song sequence, it was discovered that a huge beehive was right above the bed on which both the actors were to perform some fun-filled romantic dance steps.

`Deepika was the nearest to the hive and was the first to notice its presence. However, she maintained her calm and right before the bees could attack her, the entire cast moved away from the location along with others, ` says a source from the unit.

In less than two hours, 'specialists' were called in to deal with the situation and they took about four hours to remove the entire beehive. `In the meantime, all the actors and unit members were locked up in a nearby van for safety, ` adds the informant.

What's more interesting is the song on which the actors were performing had several references to the very insects that troubled them! `Incidentally, there was a connection between the scene and honeycomb thanks to the lyrics on which the shot was set, ` laughs the source.

Well, all's well when the skin doesn't swell!
