Murder 3’ garners 4.52 crores on the first day




Randeep Hooda, Aditi Rao Hydari starrer ‘Murder 3’ collected 4.52 crores on the opening day at the domestic box-office. Made on a budget of 5 crores, ‘Murder 3’ is very near to the profit margin. Produced by Fox Star Studios’ and Vishesh Films’, the film saw a dull start in the morning but gradually the occupancy increased in the night and evening shows.
‘Murder 3’ showed 30-40% occupancy in the morning but with the positive reviews, the multiplexes in Delhi and UP showed houseful. This is the highest ever opening of any Randeep Hooda film. Single screens had only 20% occupancy.
In the nutshell, ‘Murder 3’ opens with a decent start basically for a movie which has no face value. Randeep Hooda is popular among the masses and today being a weekend, the figure is expected to rise.
On day 2 and day 3, the movie is expected to earn 8-9 crores and in the first weekend it is expected to make around 17 crores. The movie is expected to collect around 24 crores in the first weekend at the box-office.
Released across 1350 screens in India, ‘Murder 3’ is hopeful to emerge as a winner. With positive word of mouth, the film is expected to make a business of 34 crores.
