Rani to romance Randeep in Kjo’s ‘Bombay Talkies’

After successfully directing three debutantes, Siddharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan in ‘Student Of The Year’, Karan Johar is back with another directional venture titled, ‘Bombay Talkies’ which is a love story.
Going by the title of the movie, Bombay, Karan is likely to shoot the film in the streets of Mumbai to give a realistic touch. "This story demands a realistic backdrop and so Karan has opted to shoot in a different manner", informs a source.
The main role will be portrayed by Rani Mukherjee and Randeep Hooda. This is the first time Rani and Randeep have been cast opposite each other and the casting sounds really interesting. The film also stars ‘Mujhse Fraandship Karoge’ actor Saqib Siddique.

A source close to Karan reveals, “His (Karan) next is a love story between Rani Mukerji and Randeep Hooda. The movie also has Saqib Saleem (last seen in Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge; 2011) playing a pivotal role.”
Rani is Karan Johar’s favorite actress and Karan has directed Rani in few blockbuster but for the first time he will be directing Randeep Hooda. Randeep is a shining star. His career sprung in last few years. He played a pivotal role in ‘Heroine’, ‘Jism 2’ and yet to release ‘Murder 3’.
‘Bombay Talkies’ will be a true tribute to Indian cinema by four creative filmmakers Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Bannerji, Anurag Kashyap and Karan Johar.
The film will release on May 3, when Indian Cinema will complete its 100 years.
