Choreographer-director Remo D'Souza has used chartbuster "Aa re pritam pyaare" from the film "Rowdy Rathore", in his new film "ABCD - AnyBody Can Dance". He says it will be shown in the movie with a new twist.
"I have got 'Aa re pritam pyaare', the superhit song from 'Rowdy Rathore' in 'ABCD...'. It was a surprise for Prabhudheva, who had directed 'Rowdy Rathore'. I thought why not have something that he had created for his film and show it with a new twist in 'ABCD...'," Remo told.
Remo, who has got various dancers together for his dance-based 3D film, says there is one common factor in the picturisation of the number in "Rowdy Rathore" and "ABCD..."
"Interestingly, Shakti Mohan danced to 'Aa re pritam pyaare' in 'Rowdy Rathore'. Shakti is a 'Dance India Dance' winner. And in 'ABCD...', Vrushali, another superb 'Dance India Dance' dancer, who is making her mark in Bollywood now, has danced on this mega hit track.
"The song is used in the film for a bit," he added.
Directed by Remo and produced by UTV Motion Pictures, "ABCD..." features veterans like Prabhudheva and Ganesh Acharya, alongside several young choreographers.
