Veteran actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha finally made Rani Mukherjee and Aditya Chopra’s relationship public. He made a big blunder at the unveiling of late filmmaker Yash Chopra's statue on Monday, he referred Rani Mukherjee as Rani Chopra. The expression of the actress who was present at the event is to be seen, she looked totally blank for sometime.
While mentioning the entire Chopra family during a speech, Shatrughan said: "Yash Chopra, Pamela Chopra, Uday Chopra, Rani... just now my wife said I missed out on Aditya Chopra. Rani Chopra ka naam liye hai toh zahir se baat hai Aditya Chopra ka naam bhi... (When I am taking Rani Chopra's name, then it is obvious that I am taking Aditya Chopra's name as well)."
Rani was shocked to hear this and she was left silent. The occasion was unveiling of late filmmaker Yash Chopra's statue and the event was attended by many film personalities like Poonam Sinha, Poonam Dhillon, Parineeti Chopra, and Prem Chopra. Many film personalities went up to the stage to share their experience with the ace filmmaker but when photographers requested Pamela Chopra to pose for a picture alongside the statue of her late husband with Rani in the same frame, she politely gestured and declined.
Over the years, Rani and Aditya Chopra’s relationship was making news but the duo never came open about their relationship in public. They always maintained a dignified silence. Couple of times, news of their wedding as well as secret wedding sparked off but they never spoke out.
It is said that very soon Rani and Aditya will get hitched. Aditya has taken divorced from his first wife Payal to marry Rani. It is also rumored that Rani’s close association with Aditya Chopra is the prime reason of his failed marriage.
