The indo-Canadian porn star turned actress Sunny Leone beats all the leading actresses of Bollywood to become the most searched celebrity in the world. She has pushed behind the leading and established actresses of Bollywood like Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra, Vidya Balan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. According to December report, Sunny Leone was searched online 3.5 crore times in December 2012 alone. It is an accumulative result from Google, Youtube and other searches.
Katrina Kaif, the leading actress of Bollywood stood second with 1.6 crore search while Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who was away from movies for almost two years was highly searched due to her various appearance and she made up to 1.1 crore. Salman Khan who very often made news for his rivalry with Shahrukh Khan and his 100 crore business has made a place in the search with 1 crore times.
Kareena Kapoor who was married to Saif Ali Khan in October and made news for ‘Fevicol Se’ item number was searched 85 lakhs times. Aamir Khan was searched 80 lakh times, Akshay Kumar 73 lakh times. Vidya Balan made 61 lakh, Kajal Agarwal was searched 59 lakh times. Amitabh Bachchan made 39 lakh, Shahrukh Khan made 48 lakh.
Sunny Leone who ventured into Bollywood with Pooja Bhatt’s ‘Jism 2’ turned out to be the most searched celebrity in the world and is currently busy shooting for Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Ragini MMS 2’.
