There's no stopping Sanjay Dutt

There`s no stopping Sanjay Dutt

Despite suffering from an injury, the actor continued shooting for high-octane stuff in 'Policegiri'

Now that these days most actors are doing heavy-duty stunts themselves, it is quite natural to hear about injuries sustained on the sets. We hear that Sanjay Dutt suffered from some serious injury on his leg while engaging in high-voltage scenes in producer TP Aggarwal's next.

Despite being in pain, Dutt however urged the unit to carry on with the day's schedule. The actor took just a few minutes' rest and was back in the game soon after.

Aggarwal's son Rahul says, `Dutt's attitude is commendable. He insisted on finishing the shoot on the same day and wrapped it up well in time. He is one of the most professional actors around.`

Playing safe

The film that was earlier scheduled to release in May has been pushed back to June. The makers fear that too many films of the same genre will be clashing at the box office at the same time.

Aggarwal says, `We had marked the film to have a May release but we thought it would be better if we shift the date. More films tend to work in June-July. We didn't want to get lost in the rush of all the films in May. We have some great actors in the film and want the audience to take notice of them.`

On the right note

Sources also say that Dutt is taking keen interest in the project himself. He has been shooting during the day in Hyderabad and flying into Mumbai during the night to be part of discussions among the film's unit regarding the music.
