Actor, choreographer and director Prabhu Deva is once more ready to direct Salman Khan
Salman Khan,
after the success of his movie “Wanted”. Salman Khan’s action sequences were
highly applauded in the movie and so Prabhu Deva is excited to make one more
action drama with the super star, Salman Khan. Prabhu debuted as a director
with this movie.
When asked if Prabhu thinks that it was because of his directorial movie “Murder” that Salman’s career again took a flight, Prabhu said, “I don`t take the credit at all. If I would not have directed, someone else would have directed him. He has a huge fan following”. Prabhu also directed action movie Rowdy Rathore which was released in 2012. Prabhu though says that his passion lies in choreography, he is getting applauds for his action movie series. “People accepted me as an action film director, but I am more romantic director as I am a choreographer before so with dance romance comes naturally”, says Prabhu.
Prabhu’s next ventures are “Ramaiya Vasta Vaiya” scheduled to be released on 19th July 2013 and “Rambo Rajkumar” whose release date is not decided. Apparently “Ramaiya Vasta Vaiya” is a romantic movie starring Shruti Haasan and Girish Taurani. “Rambo Rajkumar” has Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles.
Prabhu was recently honored at the launch of latest edition of Limca Book of Records. He was overwhelmed. Talking about his upcoming movies, he said, “I am looking forward to both the films. Both have very interesting subjects and I am very happy that Bollywood is treating me so well”.
He was ssked about his lead actor Salman and that he is known to report late on the sets, Prabhu snapped and said, “Why does everyone talk about Salman Khan's timings? Only one thing I would like to say that in last few years he has given many films. If he would have been coming late then he wouldn't have managed to
