Now Jiah Khan’s tragic life on celluloid

Bollywood is again following its trend of making movies on the controversial life of celebrities. A film maker is reported to be so moved by the tragic end of Jiah Khan’s life that he has decided to make a movie on the same.
The movie is already given the title of ‘Bold Bollywood’. It was launched at a five star hotel joint. The movie will be directed by Rikshhit Matta. He has earlier directed little known movies like ‘Shaadii Ke Liiye Loan’ and ‘Mr. Money’. The story revolves around three girls who come to Mumbai to try their luck in Bollywood. The story is about their aspirations, successes and failures. One of the stories is of Jiah Khan. It will show how Jiah came in Bollywood, how she got her first break and her life in general. It will also show her love life and turmoil related to her relationship.
The lead roles are played by Shweta Bharadwaj, Sandeepa Dhar, Hazel Keech, Rajpal Yadav and Manoj Joshi.
“The media reports surrounding the sad death of Jiah Khan, the heartbreak and the subsequent loss moved me. Success in Bollywood is elusive and there are a lot of pitfalls. My film is a sincere attempt to expose the underbelly of the film fraternity.” Rikshhit Matta said.
He added that “One of the characters is similar to Jiah Khan and the ups and down she went through in her career and life.”
The movie will be produced by Shabana Hashmi. She said, “We want to bring forth the dark side of the glamour world. Even for our future projects, we want to take up subjects with a message that bring about an awareness in society.”
Matta also revealed that he accidently met Jiah at a night club party some five months back. Then also he had some script in mind. He discussed the plan with her and told her that he would get back to her once the script was finalized.
Matta recalls, “Jiah was full of joy and had shown interest in the subject but when she heard that one of characters in the film has a tragic end, she said it was too depressing. I am deeply aghast how can Jiah do the same with her life”.
He added, “This film will definitely be a tribute to those aspiring actresses who have gone through this agony.”
The film will be produced under the banner of Zahara Productions.
