Shahrukh offers his consolation to Priyanka

Shahrukh Khan attended the funeral of Priyanka Chopra’s dad, Dr.Ashok Chopra, on Monday evening at a crematorium in Mumbai. Dr.Chopra was battling against cancer and few days back he was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai. He was 62. He served in Indian Army as a Physician. Dr.Chopra is survived by his wife, Dr.Madhu Chopra, daughter Priyanka Chopra and son Siddharth Chopra.

Shahrukh Khan was present at the funeral with his wife Gauri Khan. The couple consoled Priyanka and his family and prayed God to give them courage to over-come this grieving situation. He also prayed for the deceased, that may he find rest and peace.
Apart from Shahrukh Khan, other Bollywood personalities were also present at the funeral like Karan Johar, Uday Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, Shahid Kapoor, Anurag Basu, Madhur Bhandarkar, Ranveer Singh, Uday Chopra Ramesh Sippy, Vipul Shah, Ramesh Taurani, Manish Malhotra, Daboo Ratnani and Puneet Malhotra to name a few.
Actress and Priyanka’s cousin, Parineeti Chopra was also seen grieving with the family.
Bollywood personalities have also tweeted consoling Priyanka. Bipasha Basu tweeted, “Strength to you Priyanka Chopra and your family”.
