Amitabh Bachchan will start shooting for Prakash Jha’s ‘Satyagraha’ in Bhopal and Big B was accompanied by Jaya Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Bachchan and Aaradhya Bachchan. Bhopal being the sasural of Big B, the city has been very special for the megastar in every sense. Amitabh Bachchan arrived with his family at the Raja Bhoj Airport. On landing he clicked photographs with the fans gathered outside the airport and also gave them autographs.
Big B will be in Bhopal for three months. "Here (Bhopal) now for Satyagraha for Prakash Jha with a host of very important talent - Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Manoj Bajpayee to name a few. A strong powerful subject, intense and gripping," Amitabh Bachchan wrote on his blog srbachchan.tumblr.com.
After recovering from prolonged illness, for the first time Big B is shifting his base for such a long period.
"It is going to be a start to finish film, so 'home' away from home shall be the city of Bhopal, the 'son-in-law's' city. The jamai as they are known in most languages of the country.
"Setting up your room for the next three months, getting stuff from home in correct order has always been an exercise nothing less than moving house, which we all know is an arduous experience by itself. But I am happy to note that a sparse set up seems to be controllable, than one that is filled with material which is hardly used... but there," he added.
From the airport they headed straight to Jaya Bachchan's mother Indira Bhaduri's place in the posh Shyamla Hills area. According to sources, Bachchan will stay in 'Noor-us-Sabah' hotel where the other star casts of the movie Kareena Kapoor, Ajay Devgn and Arjun Rampal will stay. The film shooting will began from Thursday at a location near Bhojpur.
Son Abhishek, daughter-in-law Aishwarya and grand-daughter Aaradhya, will go back the same day.
"I brought along Abhishek and Aishwarya and little Aaradhya too with me in the plane, so they could meet their Nani, Jaya's mother, who lives here, as also Jaya's youngest sister and her family. The three A's went back by the evening," he posted.
The hotel authorities has arranged a grand party in Big B’s honor and it will be also attended by noted actress and MP Shabana Azmi, who is in the city to take part in another programme.
