The ‘Student of the Year’ actress Alia Bhatt for the first time experienced slap. She is the youngest in the family and never received slap from her parents, Mahesh Bhatt and mother Soni Razdan but while shooting for Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Highway’, she got a slap from Randeep Hooda. A scene requires where Randeep need to slap Alia, being a first timer she did not disagree and took things in the right way.
The scene was shot and the outcome was really authentic. ‘Highway’ was directed by Imtiaz Ali of ‘Jab We Met’ and ‘Rockstar’ fame.
Alia Bhatt who ventured into Bollywood with Karan Johar’s ‘Student Of The Year’ with Varun Dhawan and Siddharth Malhotra is currently filming ‘2 States’ with 'Ishaqzaade' actor Arjun Kapoor. The film is an onscreen adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's novel of the same name.
In the movie, Alia is playing a south Indian kudi and Arjun a north Indian. For the film, she is taking lesson on Bharatnatyam.
