From the cold climes of Himachal Pradesh to the deserts of Rajasthan, Ashmit Patel had a hard but fulfilling trip
Before he commenced the shoot of his next film with Salman Khan, Ashmit Patel took off bag and baggage for some India darshan. And first on his itinerary was Himachal Pradesh followed by Rajasthan.
Trekking in McLeod Ganj
The actor took in breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains as he went on a hike in McLeod Ganj.
`It was the most fantastic feeling to be accosted by three gorgeous mountain dogs upon reaching the peak (at almost 10, 000 feet!). The love they showered on me was my prize for making the hard climb up, ` gushes the actor.
The Dalai Lama Complex
The structure on Temple Road is just a short walk from the main square of McLeod Ganj.
The temple complex is open daily from sunrise to sunset and visitors are welcome to explore the peaceful ambiance of the surroundings. The actor says, `It was a very pleasant experience. I enjoyed having momos in the cold climate.`
Brahma Temple at Pushkar
Pushkar has the only temple in India that is dedicated to Lord Brahma. `It is believed to be the centre of creation as Brahma is the lord of creation. Hence the importance of Pushkar, ` adds Ashmit.
