Gloomy Sanjay Dutt returns to shoot

Sanjay Dutt
Sanjay Dutt
broke down at the press conference that was held yesterday outside his Bandra residence. After the press conference, Sanjay Dutt directly headed to Kamlistan Studios for the shooting of Policegiri. During the shooting of his film, he appeared absolutely calm and composed. He put up a brave face throughout the day. Although several crew members got emotional on seeing him, Sanjay Dutt was a picture of serenity. He maintained a thorough professional attitude during the shoot. The entire unit was seen wearing white arm bands in support of the actor. The producer of Policegiri was quoted saying, “We want to show our love and support for Sanjay. It is really heart-breaking to see him on the sets and work so professionally even in tough times. Sanju's commitment to his work has stunned us all.”
Sanjay Dutt has made it clear that he wants to complete all his pending work in the 3 weeks that he has, he does not want any of his films to suffer. After the shooting of Policegiri, he headed straight for the dubbing of Zanjeer.
He is keen to wrap up Zanjeer as well; and he is required to shoot for 3-5 days with Priyanka Chopra. But the only obstacle is that Priyanka is in Miami for the shoot of her second music video, so Sanjay Dutt will have to wait for her to be back.
In the Zanjeer remake, he plays the character of Sher Khan. Another one of his films is Peekay, which is being directed by Rajjumar Hirani. Almost complete, the film maker has given Sanjay Dutt a free hand to work around his dates for the shoot of his remaining portion.
For the upcoming Dharma Production, Ungli, which is still in the pre-production stage, can easily have Sanjay Dutt replaced with another actor. Biggest setback could be to the Munnabhai series, as one cannot imagine it without Sanjay Dutt.
Sanjay Dutt has been charged for the possession of arms and the Supreme Court has given out a verdict that Sanjay Dutt will have to serve 5 years in jail, of which he has already served 18 months. At the press conference, Sanjay Dutt announced that he will not apply for pardon and will surrender within the 4 weeks time that he has been given. Sanjay Dutt rose to stardom with his debut film, Rocky, and was slated as the next big thing in Bollywood.
