On the set of ‘Ram Leela’, renowned filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali
mistakenly keeps calling Deepika Padukone, Ash. Bhansali has worked with Aishwarya in three movies and his equation with the former beauty queen and Bollywood actress is well-known. Though he is working with Deepika Padukone, he can’t wipe out Ash’s name from his mind. The 50 year old filmmaker can’t help but keeps calling Deepika, Ash. Aishwarya and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s share a great bonding. They have worked together in blockbusters like 'Devdas', ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’, ‘Guzaarish’ and he can leave Ash’s name from his lips.
Talking to the tabloid, the sources have said, “It is an open fact that Bhansali is very close to Aishwarya Rai as they have done three films together. It’s quite natural that he would miss her.”
Deepika Padukone understands and she took it sportingly. She did not mind that everything Bhansali calls her as Ash. Almost after every shot, he would say, ‘Nice shot, Ash’ or Ash, let’s do the next scene like this’ while talking to Deepika.
His assistant director would correct his mistake every time.
“After a point even Deepika understood and was cool with it,” the source added.
