Steven Spielberg is undoubtedly one of Hollywood’s biggest names. He is an Academy Award winning director who has directed some of the best movies of our time- Schindler’s List, Saving Private Ryan, Jurassic Park, ET, Lincoln, etc. He won the Academy Award twice- for Schindler’s List and Saving Private Ryan and his latest movie, Lincoln has also enjoyed a lot of success.
Steven Spielberg gifted Amitabh Bachchan his coffee table book. When asked what he wrote inside the book, Bachchan just tweeted CBD: Cannot be disclosed. Steven Spielberg is supposed to be in India to hold talks about an upcoming movie, with Amit ji and Anushka Sharma. Amit ji had met Steven Spielberg with around 61 other big filmmakers from India itself.
Anil Ambani threw a big bash in Spielberg's honor in Mumbai- an event that was attended by Anil Ambani, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Tina Ambani, Amit ji and Spielberg. There were a lot of other big names included in the party list as well. Anushka Sharma was also given an invitation to the party to meet Steven Spielberg- an honor not a lot of people in the Bollywood fraternity have possessed. There are rumors that Anushka Sharma might be acting in Spielberg's next directorial venture, alongside Hollywood giants such as Bradley Cooper, Denzel Washington, etc. Spielberg will be holding talks with Amit ji about the same, before anything is finalized.
Spielberg's visit to India is a part of his tour to celebrate the success of his latest movie Lincoln, starring Daniel Day Lewis. Lincoln won a lot of critic appeal and mass support as well- Daniel Day Lewis even won the award for the best movie of the year. Lincoln was a co-production between his own banner- DreamWorks production and Reliance Entertainment, a company owned by Anil Ambani. The success of this movie was the reason behind the party thrown by Anil Ambani at Cuffe Parade. What is to come out of all this fraternizing? We will surely find out soon.
