Vidya to change her saree clad image for Emraan Hashmi

Vidya Balan has always been associated as a person who loves to wear sarees, especially the ones designed by Sabyasachi. However, recent news say that the actress has decided to go against her saree addiction and attain a completely new look for her latest movie ‘Ghanchakkar’ co-starring Emraan Hashmi. Vidya, who has been all famous for her, gorgeous looks in saree, has decided to go against her rulebook. Reliable sources have reported that her character in the movie is that of a Punjabi home-maker, and hence she will be required to wear salwar & kurtis instead of saree. Thus, the actress threw off the six yards of fabric and made herself dress in a brand new look.
Vidya has also allowed a peek into her newly changed wardrobe, a completely Punjabi clothed one. She has also posed for some excellent photographs that will be seen in the new movie. One of the producers of the film is her husband himself, Siddharth Roy Kapoor and the other one is Ronnie Screwvala. The two co-producers have decided on arranging an exhibition of Vidya’s new looks in the clothes in the upcoming months. A source has also reported the fact that right after the launch of the trailer of the film, there will be a huge and grand display of all the clothes that Vidya is going to wear in this film. The launch of the trailer is going to take place at the end of this month.
The writer and director of the film, Rajkumar Gupta commented that Vidya’s looks in the film is something to be greatly watched out for by the audience. Hence, it is not a big surprise as to why the team has gone for extreme promotion campaigning for Vidya’s looks only. Thus, we can surely say that the actress is all ready to mock those who have criticized her for having a one-dimensional type of look. She is going to change all the existing perceptions about her looks that are going around.
After the huge success of ‘Kahaani’, this film will be yet another big thing for Vidya, and this will be solely for her different look. In ‘Kahaani’ too we saw her in a red bordered white saree towards the end of the film. Out here, she will be a striking contrast to what we have seen her to be till date. Hopefully, this new look will be as stunning as her performance has always been on the silver screen.
