Global Associated News reported “Actor Ayushmann Khurana is reported to have died shortly after a snowboard accident earlier today – April 17, 2013.” It was said that this latest sensation of Bollywood and the star of the successfully running Nautanki Saala was spending an idyllic vacation with friends and family in Zermatt, Switzerland. This is a famous ski resort. Khurana was snowboarding but lost control at one point of time and crashed at high speed into a tree. He was airlifted by ski patrol teams to a nearby local hospital but he could not be saved despite the best efforts of the doctors. The actor was reported to have been wearing his helmet at the time of the crash, but he died almost instantly on impact. Alcohol and drugs were not reported in connection with the accident.
