The filmmaker Anurag Kashyap on the alleged crisis in his marriage with Kalki and Huma Qureshi's mother's biryani Ever since they both worked in Gangs of Wasseypur, much has been talked about Anurag Kashyap's growing fondness for Huma Qureshi. There was even buzz how their alleged closeness had blossomed over plates of biryani.

However, Anurag rubbishes all rumours and states that he and wife Kalki are very much together.

The filmmaker says, `I love my wife and she has changed my life! People have issues and there is nothing more to that. We don't have time for each other as we both are shooting.

And because of that, problems do crop up from time to time. When they happen, we solve it! In fact, both Huma and Kalki are even appearing in interviews together.`

Food for thought

On the rumours about Huma's mom's biryani being the catalyst in allegedly bringing the two together, Anurag quips, `If people go back in time when we were shooting for Gangs, Manoj, I and everyone else on the sets would talk so much about all the food that Huma's mom cooked for us.`

Huma Qureshi attributes her success to Anurag Kashyap

Actress Huma Qureshi today said that she owes her success to filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, who launched her in 'Gangs of Wasseypur' and later cast her in his home production 'Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurrana'

The director cast Huma in his two-part revenge drama 'Gangs of Wasseypur', which did good business at the box office. "There are two people in my life to whom I can attribute my success one is Anurag Kashyap and second one is N K Sharma, Delhi-based theatre director.

I thank them deeply, they have been mentors, friends, who have nurtured me in their own way, " Huma told. "One nurtured me when I was doing theatre and other helped me a lot with my first film. I feel glad... Had 'Gangs of Wasseypur' not happened, I wouldn't be doing other movies, " she said.

It was reported that it was due to Kashyap's suggestion that the makers signed Huma for Nikhil Advani's upcoming film 'D Day'. Recently, some reports linked Huma's name with Anurag. Huma says she is tired of reports linking her up with the director. "I do not care about all these things.

I laugh at these reports, " she said. The actress will next be seen in Vishal Bharadwaj's home production 'Dedh Ishqiya'. "It is a beautiful script. It is a lovely film. I was a fan of 'Ishqiya'. I never thought or dreamt that I will do the second part of the film. We are in the middle of the shoot, it is going pretty well, " Huma said.
