John Abraham makes love with Kangana Ranaut

Balaji Motion Pictures' next movie ‘Shootout At Wadala’ will see John Abraham romancing Kangana Ranaut. Kangana will be seen in the role of Vidya, John’s love interest. ‘Shootout at Wadala’ promises power-packed performance by John as Manya Surve. Vidya has got a special mention in S. Hussain Zaidi’s best-seller ‘Dongri To Dubai’, on which the film is based upon. Director Sanjay Gupta has learnt about the existence of Vidya in Manya Surve’s life while researching on the subject and interrogating police. It is believed that Vidya cheated on Manya.
Reveals Sanjay, “The Police know about Vidya. So do the residents of Mumbai’s Dadar and Agar Bazaar areas where she is folklore. Many believe that she betrayed Manya, which led to his encounter. No one knows what happened to her after Manya’s death.”
On Casting Kangana, he adds, “The role of Vidya was written originally with Vidya Balan in mind, as we needed a powerhouse actress to pull off the film’s emotional dimension. When it didn’t work out, we opted for Kangana, as she is a fantastic actress. She has really stood her own amid the men in the film and delivered a knock-out performance.”
Stylish Kangana has gone de-glam for the role. She dons a simple cotton sari, no make-up and tied hair simply. Concludes Gupta, “She’s done something she hasn’t done before.” This is the first time Kangana has been paired opposite John.
Balaji Motion Pictures ‘ Shootout At Wadala directed by Sanjay Gupta stars Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, Kangana Ranaut, Manoj Bajpai, Tusshar, Sonu Sood, Mahesh Manjrekar, Ronit Roy, Siddhant Kapoor and few others.  The film is slated to release worldwide on May 3rd 2013.
