The Kapoors are back in action with the new brigade taking Bollywood by a storm. The K ’factor’ is prominently visible all over the film industry and is still going strong with many young Kapoor guys and girls, the who’s who of the Kapoor family ready to rule the charts in the upcoming season. 

Rockstar Ranbir Kaoor is the topmost contender of the Kapoor crown of fame while Heroine Kareena Kapoor is the ruling lady of the clan in close tie with Aisha Sonam Kapoor. Sonam is giving Kareena a head-on competition not only in films but on style charts too.

Catching up fast are the newcomers on the block like Ishaqzaada Arjun Kapoor, Nautanki Saala Kunaal Roy Kapoor and knee deep in Aaashiqui Aditya Roy Kapoor. Surprisingly, Padma Shri Sridevi is the eldest but experienced player of the Kapoor brigade. A chalbaz with expertise in fine nuances of the acting industry, Sridevi can steal the victory from the horse’s mouth with just a whiff of her English Vinglish.

The flourishing actor is just two films old and has already proved himself in ‘Ishaqzaade’ besides promising big for soon to be released ‘Aurangzeb’. The step son of Sridevi and first cousin of Sonam Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor has worked as an assistant director for hit films like Wanted and Kal Ho Na Ho. With the acting insect in his genes, this young Kapoor lad has the needed vigour to excel in Bollywood with his aggressive looks and perfection.   

The younger brother of UTV CEO Siddharth Roy Kapur and brother-in-law of Vidya Balan is emerging as the unconventional actor with curly locks. The actor who took off from hosting as a Channel V VJ, made his debut with London Dreams followed with Action Replayy and Guzaarish. Aditya is now aiming high with the just released romantic film ‘Aashiqui 2’ paired opposite Shraddha Kapoor. 

Kareena Kapoor is undoubtedly the ruling queen of the Kapoor brigade and is still going strong with her charm and poise. The Talaash girl is climbing higher stones of success and is ready to woo the crowds again in ‘Gori Tere Pyaar Mein’. Fortunately, the actress has been going stronger and better and has just returned home from Bhopal after wrapping up the shoot of ‘Satyagraha’ starring Amitabh Bachchan and Ajay Devgan. 

Wife of Boney Kapoor and mother of growing up girls Khushi and Jhanvi, Sridevi has bounced back in action to give some serious competition to the much younger Kapoor kids. The ‘Chalbaz’ girl is playing her second innings in Bollywood and is winning the game too. After collecting loads of appreciation and awards, Sridevi seem to have a lot in her kitty to rule the film industry again.   

Ranbir Kapoor is the king of the Kapoor brigade and seems to be a permanent ruler with his best produced delicacy till date ‘Barfi’ that took home almost all the awards this year. The Badtameez Dil guy has been collecting lot of attention and accolades and has even united with former girlfriend Deepika Padukone in soon to be released ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’. Striking the bull’s eye year film after film, Ranbir has overpowered all of the Kapoor clan by now.  

The cute and charming Shahid Kapoor has the required spark needed to put the film industry on fire. Incidentally, the former love interest of Begum Kareena Kapoor, Shahid has come a long way since ‘Jab We Met’ and has evolved as a polished actor with ‘Mausam’. Shooting for Rambo Rajkumar with dance maestro Prabhu Deva, Shahid Kapoor is all set to hit back at the ruling king Ranbir Kapoor in the upcoming season.  

Sonam Kapoor is the first cousin of actor Arjun Kapoor and second cousin of Ranveer Singh (from her mother’s side). The style diva already rules the film industry with her fashion sense and has collected appreciations for her work in Mausam, Saawariya, Delhi 6 and many more. Awaiting the release of ‘Raanjhanaa’ opposite Dhanush and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag with Farhan Akhtar, Sonam is definitely the ruling lady in the Kapoor lot.
