Selena Gomez managed to
tell Justin Bieber what he missed out on when she took to stage at MTV
Movie Awards 2013. The singer, dressed in a shredded red dress, made
provocative dance moves, which have been inspired by Bollywood.
In her attempt to match up to the desi beats, Selena also does a
thumka and a step that reminds you of the dance form ‘mujra’. Take a
closer look at the step and you’d be reminded of Madhuri’s Maar Daala
jig in Devdaas.
In one of her interviews before the ceremony kicked off, Selena
said, ‘I wanted to make the performance something that’d be a
game-changer for me, personally, because I wanted to out-do everything
else I’ve done as an artist.’
‘I love dancing. I love
the feel of the song and the tribal feel, so I wanted to incorporate
that, so I just wanted a fresh take on what, you know, the new chapter
is for me. So I’m excited,’ she had said.

As much as I like Selena I have to say her performance was kind of embarassing to watch. She can't sing. But I like the effort made to bring out culture in her performance and dress wear. Selena is a much better actress than singer.
She's a very, very pretty girl. Frighteningly so, but when she tries to do sexuality, it scares me as she looks about 12!
