Priyanka Chopra and Ram Charan Teja starrer Zanjeer 2.0 has run into rough weather again with the Supreme Court issuing a stay order on the film's release.

According to reports, the apex court has ordered the arbitrator to complete the proceedings within six weeks.

Earlier, the Bombay High Court had issued notices to withdraw the trailer of the film's Telugu version Toofan.

The remake of the 1973 super hit film Zanjeer came under scanner after the film's producer Amit Mehra's brothers, Sumeet and Puneet, approached the HC for non-payment of dues towards his purchase of the remake rights.

Amit Mehra is son of late Prakash Mehra who directed the original Zanjeer. Sumeet and Puneet have alleged that Amit, who had bought the film's right from them, defaulted on payments. This led to Sumeet and Puneet terminating the contract for sale.

The remake also features Sanjay Dutt, Sri Hari, Prakash Raj and Mahie Gill.
The film was slated for release this June.
