Supreme Court dismisses Sanjay Dutt’s final plea




The Supreme court decision add to the woes of Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt

who is serving three and a half years jail sentence in connection to Mumbai 1993 blasts. Today, SC has dismissed the curative petition of the actor. The actor filed a petition to reconsider his guilt in the Mumbai serial blasts but Supreme Court has dismissed his petition. A curative petition was filed after the court dismissed his review petition. Currently, Sanju Baba is serving jail at Yerawada jail in Pune. He is hold guilty of possession of illegal arms and pistol used in the Mumbai serial blasts in 1993. In 2007, Sanjay claimed that he has acquired the pistol and AK-56 to protect his family during the Mumbai riot.

In March 2013, the Supreme Court upheld his conviction in the case he was sentenced five years jail term but since he has already served one and half years in jail,  the actor now has to serve 42 months in jail.
The actor is not keeping well in jail, a team of doctors visited him and they were carrying a thorough investigation after he complained of breathing problem and high-blood pressure.  He might be moved to Mumbai hospital.
