Model cum actress cum TV presenter Karishma Kotak is back to ‘Bigg Boss 6’ house. After four weeks of stay, Karishma was given the option to stay or leave the house following her father’s demise and then Karishma thought she should be with her family at this critical time and hence chose to leave the show. But now Karishma is back and she is happy to be back to the show.
The 30-year-old TV presenter feels herself lucky to comeback. “I consider myself lucky that Bigg Boss has again given me the opportunity to be the part of the show. I had to leave it due to a family emergency and I am ready to be back because it was my father`s wish also to participate in the show," she told PTI.
During her four weeks of stay, Karishma remained neutral and she was not involved in any sort of fights and controversies. She was cordial to all the housemates and said that she is re-entering into the show with the same mindset.
"Honestly, I don`t have any game plan. I have always stayed there quietly because in real life I am exactly the kind of person my audience watches me on television. I am not the kind of girl who will play on somebody`s arguments. My perspective toward my co-contestants didn`t change much after coming out of the house," she said.
She feels the Bigg Boss contestants are like her family.
"I have left my family for the show, so I do hope all contestants in the house are like family too," she said, adding that the show has been a good and learning experience.
"I have been able to learn a lot about myself, and understand myself very well psychologically. It is an interesting show, where you gradually start forgetting that there are cameras around you and then the good, bad, pretty, ugly, everything starts coming forward. It's a very growing up experience," said Karishma.
One interesting fact that revealed on the show is that Karishma was romantically linked with her co-participant Niketan model Niketan Madhok five years back.
"Niketan and I dated for a month and that happened some seven to eight years ago. I must have been 21 or something. He's a nice guy, but that's just about it. There's nothing happening, no more masala here," she added.
The London-born presenter is getting film offers from Southern film industry but at the moment she only wants to concentrate on `Bigg Boss`.
"Bigg Boss will certainly help me build my career. I am getting many offers from Southern film industry. But I haven`t thought anything about them because my concentration is on this show right now."
