Latest reports tell us that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has claimed the fact that she is in the Bollywood industry only because of the late Yash Chopra. She said that he is the greatest person who has helped her career to start. For this reason, Yash Chopra will always be a special person for her, a person who remains close to her heart.
Ash has told the press that she is in the Bollywood film industry only because of Yash Chopra. She has also revealed the fact that it was Yash Chopra who tried to convince her for two years after she had stepped in Bollywood. Ash told this to the press when she was with some kids from the NGO called Magic bus, on the occasion of Children’s day.
Yash Chopra was the man who motivated Aishwarya in order to come in front of the camera. Aishwayra was not inclined to do so. However, the great director told her to be an architect and start designing his sets. This would perhaps influence her to come and stand in front of the camera one day. This is why; he remains a special person to Ash to this very day.
Aishwarya has worked in quite a few movies under Yash Raj Films (YRF). She has worked in films like Mohabbatein, Dhoom 2, Bunty aur Bubli, and her performance in all were greatly accepted by the audience. She has also danced on an item number ‘Kajra re’, in ‘Bunty Aur Bubli’. Aishwarya, who is now 39, and a mother, says that she had shared a very close bond with Yash Chopra. Hence, it is evident that she had received a tremendous shock when this legendary film-maker passed away this year on October 21. He was suffering from dengue, which later resulted in failure of multiple organs.
Aishwarya fondly recalls her time spent with ‘Yashji’. She claims that he was a wonderful person and a marvelous film-maker. She says that when she got married to Abhishek Bachchan and became a part of Bachchan family, Yash Chopra had called her ‘Bahu’ (Daughter-in-law). This was very touching for the actress, as she felt all the more close to the director and film-maker.
Yash Chopra will remain in the hearts of all those who have had the opportunity to work with him. His sudden demise has struck Bollywood with remorse. He will remain special to Bollywood till the very end.
