Ayushmann Khurrana says that his next film "Nautanki Saala" is unique in the sense that the plot revolves around theatre, something no film has ever taken seriously.
"It's also very quirky as 'Vicky Donor', also quite out-of-the-box. We are talking about theatre. None of the films has taken theatres very seriously, but we have and we have shot in a theatre. It is very unique, " the 28- year-old said here Tuesday at the music launch of the film.
Directed by Rohan Sippy, "Nautanki Saala" also stars Kunal Roy Kapur, Pooja Salvi and Evelyn Sharma. It hits theatres April 12.
Ayushmann believes that 'nautanki' or drama is part of everyone's life.
"I think 'nautanki' is something everyone does and if we don't do it, then there would be no fun in life. We do some kind of a drama everyday, or lie to our teachers, in front of our directors or co-actor. So I think it's all part of the game, " he said.
