Former Team India skipper and Congress MP Mohammad Azharuddin was spotted with his new girlfriend Shannon Marie Talwar. The couple was spotted holidaying in Paris together. Shannon Marie hails from Los Angeles, USA. She studied at Riverside Community College. She is currently based in Delhi. She is also a a certified teacher of 'transformational yoga'.
Shannon is a director at AVA Clothing Pvt Ltd in Noida in partnership with Atul Aggarwal. Before venturing into fashion designing, she worked as Business Development Manager for vCustomer, handling American clients from India. With Atul, she has done fashion work for Nikka New York, April May, Stella Forrest, Pedro Del Hierro, Guess Jeans, Miss Sixty and Hoss Intropia.
Azharuddin's picture with Shannon Marie was first published on a website fashionscandal.com, and was later published in HT City on Thursday but Shannon denied the report and says the pictures are morphed.
Shannon told the newspaper: “Yes I’m friends with Azhar. I have lots of friends, and I don’t have to explain the nature of my friendship to you.” She claimed that they never went for a holiday.
Mohammad Azharuddin was earlier married to to Hyderabad-based Naureen, but they got divorced after 9 years of marriage. Then he tied the knot with model-actor Sangeeta Bijlani in 1996. They ended their relationship after 14 years. Mohammad Azharuddin was also rumored to have an affair with ace badminton player Jwala Guttu but both Azhar and Jwala denied the report.
