walking the ramp. Not only this, but the evening is also going to witness the pair Nandita Mahtani and Dino Morea walk the ramp together. This will be yet another feather on Kiran Rao’s cap. We are also hearing the fact that she would soon be seen acting along with her husband in an upcoming movie. Walking the ramp is something that this filmmaker will be doing for the first time. The evening has been organized in collaboration with Swadesh, an NGO belonging to Zarine. The entire event is going to be taken care of by Vikram Phadnis, with whose help the collaboration with Swadesh was made possible. The works and influence of this NGO is now spread across more than 227 villages all over Maharashtra, and the Mumbai Fashion week has come up with the rural look theme for this event.
Vikram, who is a designer by profession, has visited several villages along with Zarine in order to get the inspiration for the rural looks that will be portrayed in this show. Kiran has agreed to walk the ramp that evening only for this noble cause that looks after various aspects of the villages, namely, sanitation, water, health as well as education. She is doing the entire event only for the organization. It has also been heard that the stars who will be seen walking the ramp this evening will be all wearing the rural look collection designed by Vikram and Zarine.
The other stars who will be seen in the evening apart from the ones mentioned above are Vaibhavi Merchant, Deepika Padukone, Dia Mirza, Jeetendra, and the entire Kai Po Che Team along with Chetan Bhagat. The director of the show is extremely excited on the thought of Kiran joining them for the show. He has reported that the main reason behind Kiran agreeing for the show is the noble cause of the rural empowerment. It is also going to look after the employment of the people of these villages. We will not be seeing Kiran doing such stunts otherwise. The theme of the entire show is refreshing as it is something not connected to the urban life.
