Jennifer Lopez refuses to perform at IPL 6

American sensational singer Jennifer Lopez

has turned down IPL 6. She refused to perform at the inaugural ceremony of the Indian Premiere League and when went deep into the matter to known what is the reason behind her refusal, it came to know that the money which she is demanding is astounding and Shahrukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment failed to meet her hefty demand. It was reported earlier that Jennifer Lopez will perform at the Salt Lake stadium with our Bollywood stars Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra and Shahrukh Khan.
Reveals a source, “She (Jennifer) was supposed to come to India with a 45 member team to perform at the IPL 6 on April 2, 2013 but now she has turned down the offer.”
“It seems the monies offered to her did not excite her enough. The only people so far confirmed to perform at the opening ceremony are the ‘Jab Tak Hain Jaan’ duo – SRK and Katrina Kaif.”
With or without Jennifer Lopez, the entertainment quotient will not be any way less, like last year, this year too our Bollywood stars will show their jalwa. IPL Chairman, Rajeev Shukla said, “The Opening Ceremony of the Pepsi IPL 2013 will be one of the most spectacular events ever witnessed, in keeping with what will follow in the tournament itself, over the following seven weeks.”
“We are delighted to have tied up with Red Chillies Entertainment Pvt Ltd, which has a proven track record of organising and executing events on a grand scale,” said Shukla.
The co-owner of KKR and actress Juhi Chawla
, had earlier said, “As of last night, its Jennifer Lopez…apart from her, we have our superstars…one to ghar ka jo hai, unko to dance karayenge hi (Shah Rukh Khan being from our home will have to dance), Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif will also be there.”
